International and theses in co-supervision

Over 40% of the ABIES Doctoral School’s alumni are foreign students.

Theses in co-supervision are encouraged and render collaboration between different countries possible.

In all cases of co-supervision the doctoral candidate must be enrolled in two different countries.

Study time will be split between the two and at the end of the doctoral study the candidate will be awarded Doctorates from both countries.

In all such cases, a convention must be signed between the two participating countries.

For a European label it is imperative to contact the doctoral school in advance to check the constraints depending on the registration institute.
